Thanksgiving weekend

November 27th was Thanksgiving! One of the events I was looking forward for so long.
The first day, I went to Carl's house very early in the morning. Later the kids carl and me helped setting up everything at Abuela's house, their kids grandmother. (abuela = spanish, grandmother). We had lot's of different food and traditional meals what everybody brought. Carl's whole family was there. And of cause we had a biiiiggg Turkey, but not how I thought we'd have it as a big bird on the table, but cut in a lot of small peaces. Still good. Actually I didn't taste much different than Chicken, I wouldn't be able to tell the difference, though.

After a while, Veronica who was not at this Thanksgiving meal, asked me if I'm interested in going with her to a friends house, so I had my second Thanksgiving meal at her friend Anna's house. Anna just got a baby a few weeks ago, on the picture, the little boy is one week old. And I was allowed to feed him!! I'd never hold a newborn baby before and it was sooo cute.

At... I think Friday, Jaida Jeshaun Veronica Thor and me drove down to Oregon to visit Aunt honey, whos real name is aunt Helen actually. Jaida wanted to make a video diary on our Oregon Trip, so she recorded every little second with her little camera. Aunt honey has a beautiful big house and lives there together with Zoey and Lucy, her dogs. She invited us and a bunch of other family members for another (!) Thanksgiving meal, so it was a lot of Turkey for me at my first Thanksgiving celebration! Also Aunt honey bought tickets for us for the Oregon Ducks Football game! The stadium is about right around the corner so we walked there. It was HUGE! They played against the Arizona Wildcats, and Of cause THEY WON! ;-) The oregon Ducks are the NUMBER ONE in the Country, you have to know. So it was a very good game with a lot of Duck Spirit.

That was kinda funny, whenever the Ducks scored, the Duck mascot had to make as many push-ups as points of the team. First I thought "I want to become a mascot one day! " But when I saw his hard work-out, I overthought my wish pretty quick. I bet he has to work very hard for this job!

GO DUCKS!
